Walk-in facilities are available on each of the Twin Cities campuses to provide Technology Help, and some specialized services, for currently enrolled University faculty, staff and students and members of the University of Minnesota Alumni Association.

Minute clinics offer express assistance with any one of these common technology issues:
- Internet ID and passwords
- Security: QuickStart scan, safe computing consulting
- Internet connection: wired, wireless
- E-mail: application/program setup, GopherMail, WebMail, account options
- Software: order Microsoft software, download VPN, install Symantec AntiVirus
- UMCal registration
- WebVista access and setup

Password Help
Consultants can set or change your Internet or Enterprise passwords, provided you can present proper identification.
Students, faculty or staff who do not have a Social Security number or do not wish to disclose it over the telephone can go to a walk-in Help facility and present picture IDs.
