2009-11-02 --> October 2009 patches on Production

Updates to current patch levels for both Site Studio and the Core Content Server production environment are scheduled for Sunday November 15 from 7-9pm. These are the normal quarterly patches from Oracle and do not constitute a major version update.

This update does include some performance enhancements for Site Studio. The FCK editor now loads on demand when the user clicks into the element to edit it. Currently, the FCK editor loads for all elements when launching the page.

The patches have been installed on the UMContent test environment. If you have a site and login in the test environment, you may test your site with the latest patches installed.

This update does not include SSPU.

September 25th 2009 --> Scheduled System Outage -- October 23-25

Due to the scheduled maintenace in the OIT data center, UMContent will be brought down Friday October 23rd at 10:00pm and brought back online Sunday October 25th at 7:00am. OIT has created a Web site that will be continuously updated as we plan for and execute this outage: https://systemstatus.umn.edu/view/Main/OutageInfo.
