The Office of Information Technology(OIT) has received an update from Oracle regarding the status of the updated editor. As stated previously, the updated Site Studio release (of which the editor is a part of) has been completed and gone through QA. However, this update is dependent on another Content Server patch which in turn contains code fixes for other bugs and code for other parts of the Universal Content Management (UCM). This patch has not passed QA as it currently causing serious problems with the Content Server indexer which helps provide the ability to search within the system. Oracle has determined the cause of this issue and hopes to have the fix for it next week. They expect they should have it through QA within a week after that, which would put the release at the end of the month. Assuming that the patch is released by the end of the month, OIT should have the editor up on TEST by Mar 10th. Installation on PROD will be dependent on when the patch is released on TEST and then 1-2 weeks after that date.
OIT will update this website when we have received any further updates from Oracle.
