The Office of Information Technology(OIT) has received an update from Oracle regarding the status of the updated editor. The Site Studio Component has completed QA and is ready for release. Oracle has fixed the bug that was causing the Content Server component release to be delayed has been resolved and is currently going through QA. Depending on whether additional bugs are found in the update, OIT expects to receive the release either during the later half of this week or the beginning of next week.
OIT has received a pre-release copy of the updated editor. We are using the pre-release to test the update on our development environment and also to provide UTTC the opportunity to update the training for both the Content Contributors and Site Developers courses. By testing the upgrade and updating the training courses, OIT can release the updated editor to the PROD and TEST environments faster that if we waited until the production release of the updated editor is available.
OIT will update this website when we have received any further updates from Oracle.
