Directions for Usability Participants
We are located on the basement level of Walter Library on the Northrop Mall on the East Bank of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Walter Library is located at 117 Pleasant Street SE and can be reached either from Pleasant St. or from Northrop Mall.

From the North (I-35W Southbound)
On I-35W South, take the 4th Street SE exit. Stay straight to go onto I-35W West frontage (through one set of lights) to University Ave. Take left on University, then continue until you reach 17th Ave. SE/Church Street (Church Street sign will be on the right). Take a right onto Church Street. After the stop sign, you will see the Church Street parking garage ahead on your right. After parking, walk to the usability lab. Walter Library is located on the west side of Northrop Mall, between Johnston Hall and Smith Hall. The mall is situated between Church Street, Pleasant Street, and Washington Avenue. You can enter Walter Library from Northrop Mall or from Pleasant Street, which has a wheelchair-accessible ramp. Take the mall-side elevator to the basement level in Walter. The lab reception room is in B-18.
From the South (I-35W Northbound)
Take I-35W North to the I-94 East exit. Take I-94 East to the Huron Blvd exit. Take Huron Boulevard and continue as it changes to 4th Street SE. Continue on 4th Street SE until you reach 17th Ave. SE (you will cross University Ave. and pass Mariucci Arena on your right). Take a left on 17th Ave. SE. At the intersection of 17th Ave SE and University, continue straight. 17th Ave. SE will now become Church St. After the stop sign, you should see the Church Street parking garage ahead on your right. After parking, walk to the usability lab. Walter Library is located on the west side of Northrop Mall, between Johnston Hall and Smith Hall. Take I-94 West to the Huron Blvd. exit. Merge onto Huron Blvd. Huron Blvd. turns into 4th Street SE.
